Returns Policy

Vintage & Pre-Made Items

We do accept returns for all * items of vintage clothing and ready-made itmes (* excluding accessories and jewellery) to UK customers only. Please note we do not accept returns for items sent internationally, unless the item is faulty.
Please note that our stock will often show signs of wear however any flaws are always noted as well as information including measurements, composition (if known) in the product description. Our items will come with a returns tag attached and this must not be removed if you wish to return an item. 

Made-To-Order & Bespoke Commisions

Items that are bespoke commissions or made-to-order have been cut and made just for you from limited supplies of fabric and are therefore non refundable. For bespoke commissions, all sales are final (we will have made these to your exact measurements) and for made-to-order items these can only be refunded in exchange for store credit
Purchase confirms agreement to these terms and conditions. 

Sizing & Fabric

If you are unsure about sizing, please either check our size guide or email Hannah for more information. We have samples of each size in our studio to try on in Battersea. 
We can also provide a small fabric swatch if you would like more information about colour/fabric weight etc. 

How To Return

Our items will come with a returns tag attached and this must not be removed if you wish to return an item. 
If you wish to return an item, we must receive written confirmation in writing to hannah@salutolondon.com within 48 hours of delivery quoting your order number and the reason for returning your purchase. We will then provide a returns address and you will have 7 working days to get your return to us. 
You are responsible for covering any return shipping costs - Saluto London is not responsible for the safe return of an order and for this reason, we would request that it is sent using a tracked and signed for service. Upon receipt of the return, we will inspect the item and then issue a refund minus the initial shipping cost. Please note that it can take up to 14 working days for your refund to reach your bank account. 
We reserve the right to deduct funds from the refund if the garment is not returned in the original condition it was sent in (with the returns tag attached). 
Returns have quite a big impact on a business as small as our so please do check the item/ask any questions before committing to purchase. If you have any queries, please email hannah@salutolondon.com and we will respond within 2 working days. 

Exchanges

Most of our items are one-of-a-kind so we can’t offer you an exchange for any vintage or most made-to-order items. 

Damaged or Incorrect Items

If you have received a damaged or incorrect item, please contact hannah@salutolondon.com within 48 hours of receiving the item with a photo of the damage or the incorrectly shipped product. 
In the case of damaged or incorrect items, we will refund you the initial and return postage costs. 
You must notify us within 48 hours of receipt of any goods if they appear to be damaged in transit. If an item has been damaged in transit, you must keep all the packaging as this may be required when making a claim.
